On November 22nd the BSS senior basketball team travelled to Winnipeg, Manitoba for the CAIS tournament. Although they did not win the tournament, it was “very fun and…a great opportunity to bond as a team [as well as] explore a new city,” said Grade 12 athlete Maggie Glass, who has attended the CAIS tournament since Grade 9. In between games, the team was able to explore the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Forks Market, and Polo Park mall.  BSS played a total of five games against teams from across the country, including some from Toronto as well. With half of the players in Grade 11, the team is looking forward to next year’s CAIS tournament, which will be hosted at BSS. Go Bobcats!
